Chic and Style Behind Simplicity with Dumond this Summer!

As a home based working mom. I spend much of my time in the house. Online works and taking care of my baby are my routine jobs.

Going to church, pay bills, go to the mall, go to the market and grocery stores! I do sometimes go into parties, when invited by a very close relative. These are my only opportunities to go outside the house and when I do, I  bring my baby with me. What are the development for 1yr and 3 months old baby.

My baby's development at 1yr & 3 months.

1. He has 4 teeth at the upper part of the mouth and 4 teeth at lower part of the mouth.

2. He plays around by himself, but then he enjoys playing with others too.

3. He can easily imitate actions and sounds most especially if he finds it fun to imitate with.

4. He is trying to say two syllable words most specially f...for fish, and t...for tiger and many others.

5. He understand what does goodbye mean.

6. He is often not comfortable when he pee or poo, like he doesn't want to move when he poo and easily run away from wet in the floor when he pee.

7. Sleeps so tight at night, sometimes he wakes up to drink milk or water.

8. He want's to go to the room and jumped in the foam on the floor where we usually sleep.

9. He finds comfort with pillows. Hugging them while sleeping.

10. He can recognize people close to him through pictures.

11. He can flip books and easily remember those pictures in the book that he saw personally, like fish, ostrich and bird, he loves going to that page all over again.

When to introduce vegetables and fruits to my toddler?

Vegetables, fruits and carbohydrates are the food that we need to introduce to our kids. As early as 4 months old i already have introduced fruit juices to my son. I made fresh fruit juice from watermelon, cucumber, apple, papaya and orange. I combine them all together through juicers. And give him 60ml- 120ml.

As early as 6 months Old my son, eat rice and vegetable out of poridege. I never introduce quick cooked food for my son. For now he loves eating vegetables and drinking fruit juices.

Saying Goodbye to your baby.

Since my son's birth I was already with him. Where ever I go, I bring him. Even going to the market I cuddle him with me. We have been together for almost every day of his life.

Now that he is already 1yr. and about 3months old, I decided to teach him saying: goodbye to me and me saying goodbye to him. Guess what, it's not only him who find it hard to let go, but I am also struggling. I want to cuddle him instead of saying goodbye and do my work. But, I need to practice this and help him understand that we are completely separate person.

Today is the first day of practicing saying goodbye to each other.

I take him into a bath and change his clothes while I am trying to let him understand these words.

Me:  " Baby, naynay (mother) will work, I am just outside. Ate will take care of you."

          Then I try saying: "Goodbye, bye, bye..." .

It was difficult for him to wave his hand, but I keep on smiling while saying "bye, bye, you sleep first and naynay will work ok. He is smiling while drinking his milk and trying to wave his hand. But, when I close the door, he is crying out loud.

I can't hold it, I opened the door and explained again while smiling: Naynay will work, I am just outside, I will come back and I put a smile on my face."Bye, bye.." He tried to wave his hand while crying. Deep inside me, I want to cuddle him but, I insisted not too. I need to do this.

Why is it important to say goodbye to your baby instead of snipping to go out when he can't see you?

1. For your baby to understand that you are completely separate person.

2. He'll understand that when you say goodbye you are just there and you will come back.

3. To cope up with strangers anxiety.

4. Help him to grow independently.

Can tapping make you sleep well?

Yes and it could turn you happy all day. I met this "tapping" when one of my customers asked me about tapping ideas. I searched into the internet and was surprised that there was such an activity that could  heal our inner self. They called it " tapping" . I got interested with it, and I tried it, tapping my head, eyes, upper mouth, and hands..while saying positive words and in the end I say in Jesus name. To my surprise, it does really make me sleep so easily. Also, I don't easily get irritated and I find my self happy all day! Sometimes when I pray, I tap my head, eyes,upper mouth, chin and hands and I find it very effecient on gaining positivity in my inner self and soul. I am glad that I find this idea about tapping.

My Huggies Review!

When I labored my baby, he was under nursery care for a week and two days.  As first time parent we were not particular about choosing a diaper.  We don't care which brand he used. After three days of labor I was advised by the doctor that I can go out of the hospital. But, to our dismay the pediatrician's advised was to wait for another three days before the baby could go out of the nursery care because he was under series of test. I was the only person allowed to cuddle my baby inside the nursery room -in a scheduled and limited time. Few days before his going out of the hospital, I've noticed that my baby was always crying and he really cried out loud. The nurse said my baby was one of the babies who cried so loud among the babies in the room. Yet, I didn't mind it.

 The day of his coming home: we were all excited! Yet, it was a very challenging day for me and my husband.  We've noticed that he cried so loud, when we moved his leg a bit  and every time he Poo's or pee. When we changed his diaper, I felt so worried and pity my baby of the pain he felt because of the diaper rash. My sister who was a nurse defined it as "a close to serious diaper rash". That was the first time, I've seen a diaper rash where my babies stratum was wounded, we could even see blood onto his wounds and on the sides of his legs. It was a heart breaking moment. 

We decided then to use cloth diaper to cure his rashes.When the wound was about to get healed, That was the time I knew Huggies. Since, I am new of using it and I was in doubt, that it might worsten my babies diaper rash,  I put a diaper cloth under the diaper before putting it on. Nevertheless, time came that I got tired of putting cloth onto the diaper. I took the risk of using the diaper without cloth. Also, I Put petroleum jelly on my babies buttocks and side legs. I noticed that my baby's rash didn't get worse and finally it got healed.

I was wondering what's with this Huggies? When I looked at it and I've evaluated the material. Huggies was made of cotton which was soft as a soft cloth that gave comfort to babies skin, even when they Pee or Poo. Though, it  was a bit expensive than many diapers in the market, I just forced myself to forget the price, as long as my baby won't suffer from diaper rash anymore! It was the experienced that I don't want him to feel again.

Is it important to visit your pedia monthly ?

From my personal experience yes! When I stopped seeing my doctor after my baby turned 4 months old. I didn't notice that his weight was not increasing as it should have been, so with his height. Most of my friends and relatives said my baby seemed to be smaller than his age. I realized, they were right when he reached 11 months. Even if his not sick, I decided to bring him to his pedia. I was disappointed of myself becuase my baby was only 8kls. yet he must be 11ks. The doctor checked his height, weight and the diameter of his head. We found out that his physical development was lower than average of his age bracket. The doctor advised was to give him milk that has calories like progress and pediasure.
