Long distance bible sharing with my Husband!

Bible Sharing! Matthew 22:1-14!

I have found myself very busy not just taking care of my son but also exploring the innovation of technology: scrolling jobs, working online, scrolling nothing, surfing in the internet and everything. Then, I remember my nanay (mother) told me that you need to devote your time to God and your family every sunday- even only every sunday. I didn't mind her advice at that time. Just then I realized that nanay was right. As a mother and a wife of an overseas husband- I need to have a strong foundation of my faith and an intimate relationship with the Lord. I was wondering then, "before, I really find time to have a silent moment and listen to praise and worship songs", it was my way of talking to the Lord, but with the innovation of technology I have just realized that I allowed it to snatch my time with the Lord. I also remember what Father Ben - The celebrant priest during our wedding- he said, " You as a wife, needs to persistently pray especially your husband is working in the country where your religion is hard to find nor churches could be easily found because with these situation evils can easily be found and are very happy to find some space to ruin a family". I thought of these pieces of advice as a serious matter now it is because I will be raising a child in a world where values are significantly edgy. Then, I realized with all the calamities, war and everything bad that are happening in the world right now is a calling that "I or we should give some of our time to Lord."

As my first step of knowing the Lord, I  have question in mind. Why do I need to have some time with the Lord? Google it- there I found this verse Matthew 22: 1- 14 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+22%3A1-14&version=NIV. Then my husband called me up through skype.

Me: Hi bb. How are you?
Husband: I am fine, I am watching the re-play of Pacquiao's fight against Rios.
Me: I have a plan for tonight, we are going to have a bible sharing.
Husband: What's that? I don't know how to do that.
Me: Hmmm..bb.. the Lord said we need to have some time with him.
We are just going to share what we understand about the verse and our personal experiences that will correlate to the verse.
Husband: Ok.
Me: (hay salamat) ( Thank you he is now showing his interest -self talk.)

I really do not understand this verse before but I think of it all over again this is how me and my husband understand  these verse -Our bible sharing.
