Divine Mercy Shrine at El Salvador- Philippines

My Family and our relatives have a wonderful visit at  El Salvador Misamis Oriental Philippines. It was a two hour ride from Iligan City. My mother really wanted us to visit the Shrine to thank the Lord for his blessings.

The 50ft statue of Jesus Christ was astounding.
As I was reading the history, I was stunned how this group of people was able to build such a wonderful shrine.

At 2:30 pm an orientation about the shrine was held. They introduced how important   Three o’clock prayer was. As a visitor we have the opportunity to say a prayer for about 30 seconds at the heart of Jesus. The time limit - was to give way to all the people falling in line to offer their prayers.  As we walked slowly towards the top of the statue,  I already had started my prayers until I reached  the  top. I saw a small door at the heart part of Jesus’s statue and the Chalice was placed inside. I kneeled and continued my prayers.

As we were about to go home we drunk and fetch water , as it was being said to be Holy.
It was  wonderful to have travelled just to offer a prayer to the Lord. That was my first devotional tour and it was fun to travel with my family and relatives.

As we went home I had with me the pamphlet of the Divine Mercy Prayer. Adding a bunch of faith in our hearts  that God the Merciful and Kind who always  forgive our sins and answers our prayers.
